Electrical Performance of Current Commercial Supercapacitors and Their Future Applications

چکیده

From the first patent of supercapacitors, industry has experienced commercialization supercapacitors happening rapidly after year 2000. Within last 5 years, electronics gained access to at least four different types commercially available supercapacitor families, namely, electrochemical double layer capacitors (EDLCs), hybrid battery and pseudo capacitors. Over same period 2000, there been huge developments in electrochemistry based on new materials such as graphene mechanisms tailoring pore sizes for electrolyte ion exchange increase volumetric energy density. This paper compares characteristics three large applications how can be useful future DC-DC converters renewable micro-grid applications.
